		<description>It seems to me that BYOD is, by its very nature, incompatible with complete IT control. If an employee can use a personal device on the network, but only if it is stripped of everything but company approved software then it&#039;s no longer a personal device, really.

This isn&#039;t to detract from what Jeanette Horan has done. She&#039;s clearly taking the lead in ensuring the safety of one of the biggest tech giants out there, as she must do. I&#039;m simply trying to wrap my mind around how to truly engage in a BYOD that reaps all the benefits while mitigating all the risks.</description>
