Inside Sales Representative

Job Description and Desired Skills: 

Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting sales targets in their assigned territory.  This is a sales-closing position and only those with full sales cycle responsibility and a track record of consistent success will be considered.  They will diligently work leads as assigned in a pro-active manner and perform other duties as assigned.

Our inside sales team sells small and medium business and is characterized by a high-velocity model – fast turnover of sales opportunities.  We are agile and motivated to close the sale quickly.

The Accellion Inside Sales Team resides in our new Palo Alto office and is growing, so these are new positions. 

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals for each quarter and year
  • Develop a pipeline of business in line with company objectives
  • Work the Accellion Sales Playbook as directed by management which prescribes the day-to-day work of the inside sales representative
  • Work in concert with the Accellion sales management team to continue our record-breaking sales success
  • Use and Marketo in your day-to-day work with leads, opportunities and accounts
  • Abide by company policies and the highest professional ethics of a world-class sales team
  • Inside sales is the candidate’s profession; they are currently employed as an inside sales representative
  • A consistent track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales quota and goals
  • Their responsibilities include complete responsibility for the sale, end-to-end
  • Sale of a solution to corporate IT departments; ideally one related to email, security, or similar technologies that relate to our file sharing solution
  • The candidate will work from our Palo Alto office every day without exception.
