Regional Sales Representative

Our Regional Sales Representative team sells to businesses between 0-5,000 employees and is characterized by a high-velocity model – fast turnover of sales opportunities.  We are agile and motivated to close the sale quickly.  

Our team is based in Palo Alto and is growing. 

This is an inside sales-closing position.  The Regional Sales Representative works together with a Regional Sales Manager and each rep is responsible for their own quota and exceeding their combined overall regional quota.    Reps work leads diligently in a pro-active manner and perform other duties as assigned. 

Only those with full sales cycle responsibility and a track record of consistent success will be considered.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals for each quarter and year.
  • Forecast business accurately in
  • Develop a pipeline of business in line with company objectives.
  • Build and develop a channel partner network to grow assigned region.
  • Schedule meetings and demos over webex to present Accellion’s solution.
  • Attend local trade shows or events as needed.
  • Complete responsibility for the sale, end-to-end.
  • Use, InsideView, and Marketo in your day-to-day work with leads, opportunities and accounts.
  • Work in concert with the Accellion sales management team to continue our record-breaking sales success.
  • Abide by company policies and the highest professional ethics of a world-class sales team.


  • A consistent track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales quota and goals.
  • Three years of sales experience in a closing role.
  • Sale of a solution to corporate IT departments and other LOB’s; ideally one related to email, cloud storage, content management, mobile, security, or similar technologies that relate to our mobile file sharing solution.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
