Senior Manager/Director of Product Marketing, Developer Relations

We are looking for a senior product marketing professional who will create and champion Accellion’s developer initiative and run marketing programs to build an ecosystem of ISVs, enterprise developers, and third party integrations. In this highly strategic position you will formulate Accellion’s developer marketing strategy, launch the developer platform, and execute on key programs to win the hearts and minds of developers.

  • Formulate the developer marketing strategy, working closely with the executive team and key stakeholders across products, marketing, and sales
  • Craft compelling positioning and messaging for Accellion’s developer audience
  • Develop and launch a developer portal to engage potential developers and foster a community ecosystem
  • Launch Accellion’s developer platform and APIs
  • Design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns and programs to drive developer acquisition and usage of Accellion APIs and products
  • Collaborate with the Products team to enhance the Accellion APIs and developer tools based on market requirements and trends
  • Evangelize Accellion’s platform at key developer events and with key influencers such as analysts, press, and bloggers
  • Recruit and onboard key ISVs and developers
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in product marketing, with recent experience in enterprise software
  • Extensive background marketing to a technical audience of developers and software architects
  • Strong knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem
  • Passionate about creating strategies and executing on them
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast paced environment
  • organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
  • Eloquent ability to articulate complex ideas
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams as well as third parties
  • Effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills
  • Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets (including succinct slide pitch-decks and compelling, product demo videos)
  • MBA preferred (but we also like brilliant entrepreneurs who didn’t go to business school)
  • BA/BS degree
