Accellion, Inc., a premier provider of a new generation on-demand secure file transfer appliance and data management solutions, announced today that its Courier SFTA product line has more than doubled its revenue bookings and nearly doubled the number of new customers for the quarter ending in March 2006, compared to the quarter ending in December 2005.
Accellion's continued success correlates with the adoption of its secure file transfer solution by companies operating in the North American media, healthcare, petrochemical, and legal industries. In addition, the Company also witnessed accelerated penetration into the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market, scoring wins among customers in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and engineering industries.
Accellion's flagship product, Courier Secure File Transfer Appliance (SFTA), operates using an interface similar to that of email, offering end-to-end file security and policy-based automated file lifecycle management. In addition, Accellion Courier SFTA supports plug-in integration with Outlook and Lotus Notes clients.
