Accellion Releases Courier 4 On-Demand Secure File Transfer Appliance
Corporate Customers Deploy Accellion's Secure File Transfer Appliance for Ad Hoc, Compliance, and Low IT Burden File Transfers

Accellion, Inc., a premier provider for on-demand secure file transfer appliance and data management solutions, today announced the availability of the Accellion Courier Standard and Accellion Courier Enterprise Appliances, Versions 4. Accellion has released the newest version of its flagship product in response to an increased market demand for secure, low administrative alternatives to file transfer methods such as FTP and e-mail. The company has released updated versions of both its Standard and Enterprise Appliances in an attempt to fully address market concerns and different business needs.
Version 4 provides a number of different improvements to the previous software, including:
- E-mail agent support, for both Standard and Enterprise Appliances
- Multiple file uploading
- Ion cube encoding
- SSL certificate generation
- LDAP/Active Directory V2
Both Courier Standard Appliance and Courier Enterprise Appliance have been specifically designed for use in different business environments. While the Standard Appliance has been engineered to support single site and medium- to high-volume users, the Enterprise Appliance offers a wide array of features designed for multi-site and high-volume users, including clustering for multi-site load balancing, intelligent replication, and failover.
