Accellion and iManage Partnership Enhances Security, Compliance, and Connectivity to Enterprise Content Sources for Legal and Professional Services Organizations

Accellion, Inc., the leading platform in enabling organizations to securely share sensitive information beyond enterprise borders while maintaining the controls and visibility needed to demonstrate compliance, today announced a partnership agreement with iManage, the leading provider of work product management solutions for law firms, corporate legal departments, and other professional services firms.

iManage users gain crucial security and compliance capabilities with this integration. By choosing either a private cloud or on-premise deployment, iManage customers eliminate any risk of data co-mingling and demonstrate to their clients and partners that content security is a top priority. Additional features such as data encryption in transit and rest, encryption key ownership, and anti-virus (AV), data leak prevention (DLP), and advanced threat protection (ATP) scans further ensure sensitive information is shared outside the organization securely.

With the Accellion file sharing and governance platform, iManage users have full visibility into where and with whom outside of the law firm sensitive files are shared and stored as well as who is accessing and sharing them. All file activity is auditable and in compliance with GDPR, NIST 800-171, HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, and other rigorous regulations.

“At Seyfarth Shaw, we embrace innovation to better serve our clients,” noted Andy Jurczyk, chief information officer with Seyfarth Shaw. “As a customer of both Accellion and iManage, we view this integration as an innovative combination of security and productivity that lets our employees streamline workflows and maintain complete control over the information they share with our clients. We are very excited about this integration and how it enhances our client service efforts.”

iManage users also now have seamless, unified access to their files stored in SharePoint, Salesforce, OneDrive for Business, Box and other content sources. Files are easily located, accessed, edited, and shared, from any location or device.

“We admire iManage’s market dominance and are excited to partner with them,” commented Jonathan Yaron, chief executive officer of Accellion. “By adding private cloud and on-premise secure file sharing, iManage provides its customers with the most complete, secure document management solution on the market.  From small legal departments to the most security-conscious, large law firms, iManage meets all their needs. It’s a great partnership and a great opportunity.”

Between now and August 31, 2018, Accellion is offering iManage users free implementation of the iManage connector and 60 days of free usage if installed before September 30, 2018.
