Accellion, Inc. (www.accellion.com) a leading provider of managed file transfer solutions today announced it has closed its 2008 fiscal year with quarterly and annual bookings reaching record levels. For the 12th consecutive quarter Accellion has experienced record business growth and license bookings.

"The success Accellion has achieved is due in part to our relentless focus on delivering innovative enterprise-level managed file transfer solutions that are extremely easy to use and offer the most secure and compliant means for sharing data electronically," said Yorgen Edholm, president and CEO, Accellion. "As enterprises look for additional ways to save money during these difficult economic times, the need for managed file transfer solutions will become even greater. In addition to being a more cost effective, environmentally friendly alternative to physical shipping, sending information digitally via Accellion provides a more secure and efficient means for businesses to share information."

Sales in the Americas saw exceptional growth in government, financial, healthcare and industrial markets, which can be attributed to Accellion's security and compliance offerings. The company also achieved sustained growth in the advertising sector while experiencing new growth within the non-profit sector, due in-part to the environmental and financial benefits associated with sending information electronically using the Accellion technology.

The company experienced strong European growth, adding a number of new customers including, Bacardi, Constellation Brands, Pioneer Investments, Saint-Gobain and MGI METRO Group Information Technology GmbH to the Accellion client list.
